Painted Cup Studs

These beautiful studs are torch-painted copper cups with sterling silver earring posts & center balls.

Torch-painting involves using a concentrated flame to heat the metal till it develops a deep coloring. While it is still hot, I quench it with water and the results are different shades of purple, pink, and yellow. Each earring is unique.

Care: These earrings are sealed to protect the patina, but water and excessive rubbing should be avoided to maintain the bright hue.
